You can change the protection package on a reservation if it has not departed yet. Outdoorsy guests can change the package on their end but your direct guests need to reach out to you if they want to change the package after booking confirmation.
Adjusting protection packages on reservations
- Open a reservation page with an existing package
- Select Update Package on the Protection window on the main reservation page
- Select the package you would like from the Protection package pop up window
- Select Update package
If you upgrade the package there will be a reminder due for the additional cost of the upgraded protection package. It will be automatically charged by the system on the day of update if the reservation was fully paid or with the remainder due date if the reservation was not fully paid before the adjustment.
If you downgrade the package there will be an overpayment on the reservation. It will be automatically refunded by the system on the day of update if the reservation was fully paid or the remainder due amount will be reduced if the reservation was not fully paid before the adjustment.
