Introduction
Outdoorsy has made date changes an easy experience for both hosts and guests. If the guest has asked to extend their trip after they have paid, both the host and the guest have the ability to suggest a date change right from their booking details page.
View date change requests in Wheelbase
- You will see the “change requested” status on the Reservations menu in the main menu on the left if an Outdoorsy guest requested a date change.
- You also will see a date change banner across the reservation page if there has been a date change request made by the Outdoorsy guest.
- You will also receive a notification email for this date change request from Outdoorsy.
Should the guest ask to have the trip shortened, which will require a refund or the reservation is already confirmed and you need help adjusting the price as well as dates, contact Wheelbase support via chat or email support@wheelbasepro.com so that we can help you adjust the date from our portal. The system will automatically calculate the amount that needs a refund.
Both guest and host should be informed if change is needed in an Outdoorsy booking.
