Introduction
Seeing a notification badge or ⚠️ sign next to a vehicle? This article will explain why, and how to fix it!
On 12/2/2021, our product team released an update for the Wheelbase software. Starting today, you will see a notification badge next to listings whose photos have been flagged by Outdoorsy automatically. These photos need your attention and are not being displayed on Outdoorsy.com.
This most commonly happens with photos that contain text, links, phone numbers, or watermarks. There is a positive correlation between the amount of photos a listing has and how many bookings they receive, so let's go through how to fix it!
-
Navigate to the Photos tab of the vehicle in question. You'll see the photos that are not currently being displayed on Outdoorsy.com because the photo may contain URLs, phone numbers, or watermarks.
-
Click Edit to open the photo editor that allows you to
-
Rotate photos
-
Crop photos
-
Add filters
-
Enhance colors
-
- Use the Crop function to crop out any of the text that could be flagging the photo scanner
- If the text on your photo cannot be cropped you'll want upload a new photo without the text if you'd like to be displayed on Outdoorsy.com, where data shows more photos on listings results in more bookings.
No image or text on your photo that is being flagged?
- Reach out to Wheelbase Customer Support through the support bubble & let them know, they can help!
- Alternatively, you can dismiss the notification by clicking the x next to the photo in question. Please keep in mind that this will not make your photo visible on Outdoorsy.com. It will just stop us notifying you about it!
