Introduction
In section you will be able to set weekly, monthly, and tiered pricing. All pricing adjustments are based off of the base rate of each vehicle.
There are 2 types of rules within advanced pricing
- Based on length of booking (weekly/monthly)
- Applied to a specific day within a trip
Setting the rule
- Go to New Rule
- Select Date & Ranges, the selected rule type square will turn grey once selected.
- Select a price adjustment (based on length of booking, applied to a specific day within trip, search date promotion)
Based on length of booking
Offers a discount based on the length of the requested booking, like weekly or monthly pricing.
You also have the opportunity to charge based on days* that may tier down. For example, 0-3 nights costs x, 4-6 costs x, and 7-14 costs x.
*day displays, while the function matches Reservation Preferences options for charge by Day or Night
- Set rate and price adjustment by selecting "+Add another adjustment rule"
- Fill out the price adjustment form, If length of booking is at least -- days then decrease price by--.
- Select the dates for your rule
- Select from the drop down menu if the rule applies to a single vehicle, type of vehicle, or all vehicles
- Name the rule, this is for your internal organization. The name will show up on your rules list on the rules page
- Choose whether you want the rule to become active right away or not.
- Select "Create Rule"
Applied to a specific day within trip
Offer a discount or add free days.
If you're wanting to offer a discounted day based on the day within the trip, you can do so by entering the day you want to discount, then apply the amount you're decreasing it by.
- Set rate and price adjustment by selecting "+Add another adjustment rule"
- Fill out the price adjustment form, If day of trip is the-- day, decrease price by--.
- Select the dates for your rule
- Select from the drop down menu if the rule applies to a single vehicle, type of vehicle, or all vehicles
- Name the rule, this is for your internal organization. The name will show up on your rules list on the rules page
- Choose whether you want the rule to become active right away or not.
- Select "Create Rule"
