UPDATE 2023 January 04
The IRS is choosing NOT to enforce the reporting thresholds to provide 1099-Ks for people receiving $600 or more.
Outdoorsy will provide 1099-K tax forms to people who receive $20,000 or more of reportable income from our platform in 2022.
Avoid automatic withholding in 2022
Due to changes in federal tax legislation, starting in 2022, it’s even more important for Outdoorsy to have your tax information. If we don’t, we must, by law, withhold and remit at least 24% of all your reportable payments directly to the IRS.
Get familiar with form 1099-K

In 2022, we’ll be required to provide 1099-Ks for people receiving $600 or more.
